I had the pleasure today of photographing a wedding, for two lovely people and a welcoming family - many congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Pollard

I had the pleasure of photographing Jack and Sharni at Home Hill before they headed off to their grade 10 leavers dinner and celebrations. This is a uniquely Tasmanian tradition that gives the kids a chance to dress up and celebrate the transition to their next level of education.
Home Hill is a favourite place of mine and theirs, the gardens are beautiful an d the house offers so many opportunities for great photos. Thanks to Ann and the volunteers who look after Home Hill. So I've made an interesting observation in the last few days as I've bundled up family photos from the year for my parents and inlaws, as well as putting together my annual record photobook. I took more commissioned photos than personal photos this year. I would have been expected that when working as a full-time photographer, but not a part-time photographer/ full-time student. This years photobook has really turned into a portfolio, with very little personal work included, hopefully I'll get time over the summer to put something personal together. |
