Kelly Slater is an experienced professional photographer and an emerging artist, working in photography in Northwest Tasmania. As well as developing her art Kelly works as an event and commercial photographer for established clients such at Devonport City Council, Seven Sheds Brewery as well as community culture and heritage groups.

In developing her arts practice Kelly draws on two decades of experience as a visual arts student and professional photographer, to explore image making that goes beyond expected representative images of landscape and environment and seeks to offer a personal interpretation of human connection to Place.
