Rocks and geological features have always featured significantly in my personal photography, at this point in time I'm choosing to explore these subjects more deeply and given that the Northwest of Tasmanian has some very significant geology there will be plenty of options to explore. 

I also hope in the future to study and learn more about the why and how of geology but at this point I'm satisfied with just photographing the tones textures and patterns I find.
